I will vote against this vitally important nomination.

Win or lose on this vote, it is essential that we act on our deepest
convictions. And I refuse to vote for a Supreme Court nominee who came
before the Senate intent on demonstrating his ability to deftly deflect
legitimate questions about his views, opinions and philosophy.

Oh, yeah, if you notice, he didn't use that tripe when he didn't have a
boat. One can only wonder if he really does now. Seems like he was awfully
interested in letting everyone know that he was looking at one, posting
pictures, asking questions, etc. Usually those are the ones who really don't
have one!
============================

Yep, someone actually inferred that those asking questions here about their
boat and posting pictures here of their boat usually means they do not own
one.

I wonder who said that?

Hmmm.

I don't know about your 35 hp Wankel snowmobile and the 75 MPH, but, I do
know about my neighbor's Skiroule with a twin Sachs Wankel engine that would
go faster than that!

Back in the late 60's or very early 70's, I owned a very fast Skidoo. I
thought it was the fastest snowmobile around until my neighbor's new
Skiroule, with it's ice pick studded track came out onto the frozen lake and
made my machine look like it was standing still when I was traveling at over
65 MPH. I am not sure of the HP of the Skiroule, but, if I remember
correctly it was around the 35 or 40 HP. That Skiroule was FAST!!!!

Starbuck September 22nd 05 02:46 PM

Harry,
You mean something similar to California. That way the president can govern
by polls and he doesn't have to do what he believes is in the best interest
of the country. All he has to do is follow the most recent poll.

Kerry would have done very well with that system.

Gaetano Bresci assassinated McKinley.

You're way out of line here. Assassination is never an acceptable course
of action for removing a government official in this country.

I also dispute your claim that the presidents Booth and Oswald
assassinated were incompetent.

What we need is a petition mechanism registered voters can use to "recall"
an incompetent president like Bush, and force a new election.

What you need then, is a Parliamentary Democracy like what we have in

the future. It keeps the country's leader on his/her toes.

Yes, I have stated before I am a fan of the British parliamentary

Trouble is...if the governing party has a majority they can run

made my machine look like it was standing still when I was traveling at
over
65 MPH. I am not sure of the HP of the Skiroule, but, if I remember
correctly it was around the 35 or 40 HP. That Skiroule was FAST!!!!

My fastest snowmobile was a Boa-Ski, with a twin Hirth 440. One a lot
of races at the local track with that one, and it BARELY hit 75!

Bwaaaahaaaaa.

As to reverse, was a easy addition to the tranny. Was using it one day, and
a couple was near on their sled. The lady said, I really would like that
feature. And a single rotor Wankle had lots of power. As to being cold, we
do not see the really cold the midwest and east coast sees.
