observations

I see a lot of info bashing Bayliners. I see an equal number of posts
touting Boston Whalers. I just read that Brunswick builds both boats
in addition to a number of others.

While I am sure that each brand is built differently, I'm wondering
whaqt makes Bayliners so bad. I have been to boattest.com and every
bayliner review has been rather glowing as well as other print
articles I've read. Considering the price of their entry level bow
riders, what makes them so bad? Are they built the same now as they
were say 5 or 10 years ago?

GM made the Geo and the Cadillac. Ford made the Tempo and the Town Car.
Honda makes the Civic and the Acura NSX. Toyota/Lexus,
Nissan/Infiniti - you get the idea.

Different divisions, different engineers, different assembly plants, and
most importantly - different price points.
