-New Zogby America Poll

President Bush's job approval rating took a hit in the wake of Hurricane
Katrina, dropping to a historic low of 41%, a new Zogby America poll
reveals. The same survey found the nation's forty-third president would
lose election contests against all of his predecessors since Jimmy Carter.

The Zogby America survey of 1157 likely voters, conducted from September
6 through 7, 2005, has a margin of error of +/-2.9 percentage points.

Other legitimate polls, most recent results (this week)

Bush Job Ratings

Poll Favorable

Newsweek 38%
Time 42
AP 39
CBS 42
Zogby 41

The Rasmussen "robot" poll has Bush at 48% favorable, but its methods do
not assure it is obtaining the sample it seeks. It is conducted by
automated telephonic equipment, not by humans.

Bush supporters are lashing out at the results, blaming everyone and
everything in sight EXCEPT George W. Bush. Even Laura Bush got into the
act, by blaming the media for showing us all "those awful photos" coming
out of New Orleans.

But none of it matters. Theh right wing lemmings here wouldn't care if
Bush went completely insane, turned into a bumbling idiot from shock
therapy, then back slid into alcoholism. They'd still vote for him!!!

Kevin,

It is amazing how some people allow partisan politics to blind them to the
truth. While I believe FEMA dropped the ball in preparing for an emergency
in NO, and in implementing any plan, have you noticed the liberals have been
very quiet in criticism of the emergency management failures of the NO
government or LA state government.

It seems that the liberals are so blinded by partisan politics that they are
more interested in blaming GW Bush for everything, than actually improving
the Gulf Coast emergency management.

It reminds me of Lemmings running to the cliff, screaming "It's all George
Bush's fault". These lemmings refuse to acknowledge that even if FEMA did
there part perfectly (which they didn't), the lack of adequate preparation
and a realistic evacuation plan by local and state governments, NO would
still have resulted in an unnecessary human suffering and death.

Kevin, why do you think people are so blinded to the obvious?

Harry,
Crack Addiction is a lifetime disease, not something one slips back into, as
it were.

You claim you are not a crack addict, but there is no proof of that.

See how easy and stupid it is to play the prove a negative game.

Alcoholism is a lifetime disease, not something one slips back into, as it
were.

Bush was, is, and always shall be an alcoholic. He claims he has given up
abusing alcohol, but there is nothing to support that claim beside his
word, and that's not worth much.
