Default Hummingbird HDR600

I installed a flush/dash mount Hummingbird HDR600
http://starmarinedepot.com/Humminbird+HDR600.html ) on the boat this
afternoon. The installation (including transom mounted transducer) was
fairly easy.

I will be fine tuning the unit while on the Lake tomorrow and in between
tubing and swimming.

Does anyone here have this unit and if so, can you offer any advice on
tweaking it?

Thanks in advance for your responses and advice. ;-)

You mean adjusting the sensitivity and stuff?

Just go to the main menu and select whatever it is you want to adjust.
Personally, as much on the menu I can put into automatic, I do. About
the only thing I do adjust is the picture - lighter or darker
depending on circumstances.

Of course, it's easier to learn the Windows operating system, from scratch!

On that damn Lowrance X-85 I own, I sure as hell agree with you.

Exactly. I've got the X-75. I'm sure all the features are fantastic, but I'll
never use 75% of them.
