Can anyone recommend a 3 to 4 day canoe trip on the Allagash? We are
planning to do it towards the end of August next year. For the past couple of years, we have been paddling the Penobscot from Lobster Lake to Umbazooksus Stream. This is a great trip but we would like a change of scenery. We would also like to have a more steady, quicker current. Crossing Chesuncook lake took its toll on the some of the paddlers in the group this year. One last thing on the wish list would be no portages. Can anyone recommend a good trip to accomplish the above wishes? Thanks |
