Any suggestions? My 1985 Force 125 is a hard startin' mother. Ok once it's
started, but a handful to crank and crank and crank. Any ideas? |

I had one of these engines many years ago and my mechanic could never
totally solve the same cold start problems. It may have something to do with a poorly designed manual choke system. What I did to wake it up every time out, was to use a squirt of either starting fluid or carburetor cleaner and it would usually fire up. Most will tell you that prolonged use of these fluids is bad for the cylinders, but it may be the only way to make the initial start. "Volvette" wrote in message ... Any suggestions?
