Default Cruising Jersey Shore Advice

Planning a short cruise in the Jersey Shore in a couple of weeks with the
family, If anyone knows of a any good Marinas/Hotel combination with a close
by beach that can be reccomended, I would be most grateful.
I am planning to stay north of Belmar or not too much further, due to the
time limitations.
Family enjoys the beach during the day and some night life at night.
Thank you in advance for any advice

Alex

PS: I draw about 30". Sea Ray Sundancer 270

North of Belmar means you will be staying somewhere in the Sandy Hook area.
That means the Atlantic Highlands, up the Shrewsbury or up the Navasink. I
haven't been to those places so I can't help you there.

If you are willing to go into Shark River, the Belmar Municipal Marina has
transient slips - concrete floating docks with water & electric available.
There are many restaurants within walking distance and the beach is 5 or 6
blocks east fo the marina. I think there is a Travel Lodge close by if you
don't want to stay on board.

Just six miles south is the Manasquan inlet - lots of options there - yacht
clubs, beaches, boardwalk activity....

I keep my 290 Sundancer on F dock at Belmar Marina. If you make your way
there, stop over and say hi.

good luck,
Sandy K.
