Cool extension for Firefox users

http://roachfiend.com/archives/2005/02/07/bugmenot/

This extension will allow to log in to most sites that require registration
(NY Post, NY Times, etc)
Once you install this extension, all you have to do is go to the websites
login screen, right click on the user name box, and then select "bugmenot"
from the menu.

Bugmenot will then automatically insert a known working ID and password to
access the site. Their database is updated constantly, and I have yet to be
denied access using this extension.

Or if you don't like downloading stuff, go to bugmenot.com, enter the base URL
and it'll give you a login/password.

Sure, if you're lazy and/or paranoid you could do it that way.

I haven't logged into NYT in ages. If I recall, the site itself has the
option of remembering you via a cookie. And, doesn't Firefox have a password
encrypted password manager?

Sure, if you're lazy and/or ignorant you would not see the other
situations where Barry's information might be useful to people.

Example: You are at a friends house and don't want to install software
on their computer. You are at a public internet terminal (maybe while
on vacation) and it doesn't allow downloading / installing.
