Took a fresh water client and his wife out for three hours today -
doesn't happen often other than river fishing the Connecticut.

Showed them around Webster Lake and did a GPS spot for them - where
the good spots are during hot water season. I think this guy is a pro
bass type because he looked familiar, but the name didn't ring any
bells on Google or BASSmasters.

Ah well, in any case, we're heading out in another hour or two for one
of the local ponds for some crappie and panfishing.

Fun day - should be a great evening.

Hope it's better than mine was last night. Lake Ontario water was
"disorganized". Waves here are nothing like those on the ocean. Absolutely
no discernible rhythm to them, and they don't obey the wind. I'm fixin' to
trade in the Lund for something with more of a v-hull. It took an hour to go
3 miles, then 1 hour of fishing, then 90 minutes to get home. Had a choice
of going slow, or beating the crap out of the boat, the tackle box, not to
mention the girlfriend, who was in some sort of foul mood to begin with.

It's like Lake Champlain - you never know where the hell the waves are
coming from - it's really weird.

If you are in the market for a newer boat, I'm still interested in
selling my Ranger, although I'm not actively pursuing it.

Perhaps we could arrange something like we did with the GPS unit. Or maybe
not. :) By the way, those stored waypoints - are they real fishing spots, or
do they just lead to your garage or the 7-11 or something?

They are spots - what the hell do you expect they are. :)

You know - big x's on the water - this just shows you were they are.
