Mercruiser water pump
 
Is it any more difficult to change the recirculating pump on a 5.0
liter merc. engine than on an automobile? Mine went out last weekend
and I am thinking of changing it myself. Any caveats?

Nope, the process is the same.

Mercruiser water pump
 
The marine ones have some parts that are more corrosion resistant. Changing
them is the same.
