Really? Do tell the group how you know this to be fact.

But even Kragens /
Shucks here will let you peruse there supply of hoses. Take the hose
with
you and match it to the ones on the wall.

Hmm, let's see, thousands of applications, and they aren't on the wall.
They are behind the counter, behind the wall, where parts stores have
their parts. AND, you said HAVE THEM match one. Also, molded hoses have
molded ends. You can't just go hacking it off where you want. Now, I
ask, why not buy the hose intended for the application?

Why do you insist on turning even the most basic discussions (in this case,
about a damn water hose) into arguments? Let it go already Kevin. Life
goes on.

Because it's idiotic for CalifBill to suggest that someone cobble
together something together instead of finding the correct application.
AND, it could save someone's life. Would you feel better about it if
that person took Bill's advice and had a failure out in the middle of a
big body of water, and a storm fast approaching?

This ain't rocket science Kevin. Drop it already.

What is your problem? It is a water hose. Goe to the autoparts store and
ask to peruse their hoses. They will let you. It is not the bank where
they donot let you behind the counter. You insist on showing youself as an
idiot every time you get in a ****ing match!!!

That's EXACTLY what you should be saying to Bill. Odd, that you don't.

Sorry, didn't mean to start WWIII -

When I mentioned it was a "tough piece" to locate, I should have mentioned
I'd already been to a few auto part stores. No luck.

Does anybody know of a site that has a good selection of molded water hose
(radiator style)? I'm trying to locate a tough piece for my '70

Interceptor
Inboard. I found this site, but there's no specs...

Thanks!!

I had the same problem. Used about 2/3rds of a hose they had to make the
bend part.

Uh, why not get the correct hose for the application, to start with.
Secondly, the portion of the hose that connects to the fitting is
constructed differently than the *body* of the hose.
