ROFLMAO Based on his recent comments about Sea Ray owners, JimH somehow managed to refrain from warning you not to get your gold chains stuck in the repair job. Kudos to JimH for his self control. Yet another personal attack for no reason Chuck. You are showing your true colors to this NG, as you did in the "OT What JimH does for a living" thread, among others. Yes, the real Chuck Gould is coming out for all to see. What a shame Chuck. First, it's not a personal attack. Bullcrap You are on recent record as dismissing Sea Ray owners as a bunch of posers with too many gold chains and inadequate male anatomy. The old "Who, me?" routine comes out.....as expected. As expected, you are alsoonce again exaggerating what I said. Google up my statement and see how it was about the new generation SeaRay boats....you know, the ones *you* said people buy only because it is all about "going fast and looking good". What a hyprocrite you are Chuck. Too bad you ruined a perfectly good thread with your personal attack on me. I offered sound advice to Dubon....then you stepped in. BTW: I was a SeaRay owner....a 1987 270 Sundancer....I even posted a picture of it here in this NG. Now go and ruin another thread Chuck. Your act is getting old. |

What a hyprocrite you are Chuck. Much as it pains me to do so, sort of, I must once again prove you a liar. I keep looking for a more humane word, but each time I use a phrase like "selective memory", or what not, you protest very loudly. If you'd like to suggest a good word aside from "liar" to describe your repeated activity of doing something and then denying that you did- (or claiming to have done something that you did not)I would certainly consider using it. "Liar" has such a brutal tone, don't you think? Here is *exactly* what you posted: (begin quote) Wow, a member of the "I own a SeaRay...look at me" club. Gold chain holders......gold trim....fast boats...poor quality. All owned by fat old farts with gold chains and with severe shrinkage...."look at me"....I own a go fast SeaRay. (end quote) Guess I'm having a very hard time seeing how your comments only apply to certain Sea Rays. I think the phrase "all owned by" is pretty inclusive, don't you? Your take on Sea Ray is that they are poor quality boats, all owned by fat old farts with gold chains and with severe shrinkage. You're right about one thing JimH. My characterization of your comment, (paraphrasing your description of Sea Ray owners as people with "too many gold chains and diminished male anatomy") turns out to be less than entirely accurate. Thanks to your suggestion that I google up your post, it is obvious that your statement was even more viscious and condescending than I suggested it might have been. I specifically left out "fat, old farts" so I APOLOGIZE for failing to give you adequate credit for the actual depth of your slam against tens of thousands of boaters you have never met. Please don't offer any advice about varnishing teak and holly soles- rather obviously anybody who followed it would wind up trapped in a corner. As you now claim to be an ex-Sea Ray owner, were you then, or are you now, a fat old fart with gold chains and severe shrinkage? I'm really sorry to hear that you're gnashing your teeth all night. (PING NOYB thread) Hope our friendly bantering in the NG isn't exacerbating your condition. They say that negative emotions are self destructive- could they mean physically? I sleep like a baby, myself. You have stated I have no morals or conscience, and if you're right maybe that's why I sleep so well. Nothing shames or worries an amoral man. How dreadful to hear that guilt and shame may be taking a toll on you, I can only imagine that living with guilt and shame must be a wretched existence. You might consider a brief, open-minded study of karma, or maybe even the kabalah. There are some interesting insights available about cause and effect- something that is an underlying principle behind what you guys with morals and consciences often call "The Golden Rule". May do a lot more to cure your teeth gnashing than a chunk of plastic. :-) (Either that or become as immoral as you claim I am, that would work just as well). Again, Kudos to you for your self control in this thread. Despite your recently published opinion of Sea Ray owners, you did make an attempt to be helpful and as you can see, I commended you for doing so. Speaks well of you. Really. |

You have observed that I fail to do so frequently enough when making a mistake. I APOLOGIZE again for mischaracterizing your opinion of Sea Ray owners. I originally said that you felt they wore too many gold chains and had diminished male anatomy, but as we can clearly see by your quoted post and the item below I was very wrong. Your actual opinion seems to be that Sea Ray owners a "fat old farts with gold chains and severe shrikange who know nothing about boat quality or value and buy based on name recognition alone." I do hope I finally have it correct. Have I missed any of your other insults to Sea Ray owners? 3) I suppose I could drag out your admission that all you really *knew* about Sea Rays is thatyou heard they had some quality control problems in 1990......nah, that would be like tossing salt in the wound, wouldn't it? But thanks very much for insisting that I quote your entirely and accurately- it certainly clarified your opinions about Sea Ray owners. My impression: 1.
