Good boating in Pensacola!
 

Last week Thursday, according to the local bait shop, the waves were
DANGEROUS in the gulf. As it turned out, the "waves" were only swells, wind
was under 10knots, had a great time fishing. An occasional 7 foot swell was
just a good ride! Friday was also great, waves mostly less than 2', less
than 10 knot wind, one of the calmest days this summer on the Gulf and no
afternoon thunderstorms! Actually, Saturday would also have been great, at
least until mid day or early afternoon but it was time to go back north.
:-( Moral: Always check out the wave/weather conditions in person if you
can!
