Doug,
You've stated many times how important gun control issues are for you. You
might find the following pretty interesting:

John Kerry's ratings by interest groups related to Gun Issues

preferred position 100 percent of the time. These scores are cumulative for
each representative's time in their current office. The Brady Campaign to
Prevent Gun Violence considered votes from 1988-2003 in the House and
1991-2003 in the Senate when determining these scores.

Very nice. But, in the same way certain cards in a poker hand trump all
others, intelligence trumps issues. I can't tolerate a confirmed moron
holding the office of president. Bush must go. I'll deal with the gun issues
if Kerry continues to be a problem.

When you look at what's happening in the US today, anyone who would
choose a presidential candidate on the basis of their stand on gun
control has got to be real moron. If Bush and Kerry were to switch their
positions and adopt the other man's view, it wouldn't change my vote a bit.

Bush has got to go.

Capt. Jeff

Exactly. The issue is a red herring, but it manages to fool quite a few
people anyway.
