Finally, I drained the tank and replaced the gas; there was some water in the tank. The key symptom is rough running at low speed; high speed seems OK. The idle speed was turned up; the motor doesn't cut completely off any more. I would appreciate any suggestions or hints. I have thought about changing the spark plugs and fuel filter. I will likely contact the boat dealer about picking up the boat or motor for servicing. Seb |
