Also on the 2nd of July A very busy weekend for the Coast Guard. The dummies all come out on the water this coming weekend. More boating accidents and arrests during the 4th of July weekend then at any other time. |
True but thanks to darwin, the boater evolution is doing its best to
make sure that in a few generations only the best will have survived ;) |
With all due respect, what the heck would a Canuck know about the 4th of
July, or it's importance in American history and culture? That's like me giving you advice about vacationing on Bastille Day (or Boxing day, or whatever holiday is important to Canadians) wrote in message ups.com... maybe less .. gas is more expensive ... maybe less people boating or going slower |

Rusty redcloud That's right...ours is tomorrow...July 1, Canada Day. If you know any Canadians, be especially nice to them tomorrow. http://www.pch.gc.ca/progs/cpsc-ccsp...a/canada_e.cfm |

I watched the DC fireworks one night from my little boat on the Potomac. Then I had about a 15 mile ride back to the ramp. I'll never do it again. Here's a little clue: If you don't celebrate the fourth of July in your country, we don't give a damn about you. Hum, so the 4th of July is going to get declared a holiday in Iraq then? |

Maybe we could send Kubez over to organize the celebrations in the outlying areas. |
