We are located in Southern California and we are going to Lake Mojave July
15, 16 & 17th. Anyone interested in going?

I am curious and I ask that you do not take offense to this question as that
is not my intention.....but...why would you want to meet up with a bunch of
folks on a 3 day vacation get-away that you do not know?

Because we are going to corner them and preach to them!!! j/k there.
Jim, we like boating and have met some great people doing this. If we don't
get along boating with them, the boats fast enough to leave them behind! My
wife and I have no problem meeting new people, even strangers. I hope that
answers your question and no..I didnt take offense!!!!

I agree......some of the nicest people are met through boating. We are now
very good friends with 3 families (and one old widower fart who is now part
of our family) we met through boating.

Thanks for the invite. My oldest daughter is thinking about moving up there
again. She was in Tacoma for a couple years. If she does, I will take you
up on the offer.
Oh and Woodchuck, even with the big NO! on the invite for boating, the
invite is always open to go boating!

William, thats great your daughter might move back up here. Just a word of
caution, Tacoma has changed a lot and unfortunely for the worst. Its not as
bad as Seattle, Kent area, but still has its share of crime. The best areas
right now is the North end and the West end of the city. I live in the South
end and its not to bad here. If she does move up here, I look forward to
meeting you and your wife. Great boating up this way, one great thing about
this area .
