Cox Boat Trailer - locate VIN?
 

Good afternoon all,

I'm selling my 1979 Fisher Marine, and it comes with a 1979 Cox
Aluminum Trailer. Problem is that I can't locate the VIN on the
trailer itself - the title has the VIN number, but there are no
engravings or decals that show the same number on the trailer itself.

Any idea on whether or not Cox engraved VINs back that far? If so
where would it be located?

Or were stickers used and I'm on a wild-goose chase?

Cox used a glued-on embossed data/VIN plate. Yours probably fell off.
