just watched my 1000-pound package from the Left Coast liftgated off one
truck and hoisted onto a flatbed truck for the final leg of its journey,
up to Annapolis, across the Bay Bridge, and down the Eastern Shore. My
driveway survived...

It was a 16kW marine generator, powered by a four cylinder diesel. The
unit came on a skid, covered in cardboard, and the engine was smaller
than I thought it would be.

The genset had been ordered for a custom Left Coast cruiser, but after
it was ordered, the prospective buyer crapped out, and the unit ended up
for sale again.
