An Actual Boating Post
 

Hello all, I dig this board!

I need to learn how to take apart an outboard, measure the internal
components, and put it back together, hopefully in running condition. A
mulit-cylinder model would be best, 2-stroke most likely. What would be a
good one to locate, which would be easy enough to work on and would also be
easy to find parts and a service manual for? Something pretty cheap, as I'm
a student. Thanks a bunch.

Drew, see if you can locate an old Force or Chrysler ob. They are by far
the easiest engines to work on with very few special tools required.
(They had to be easy if I could work on them!)
