OT Will BushCo invade Vermont??

I would think that, seeing how he hasn't found his WMD's in Iraq, even
though he's spent billions upon billions of dollars to do so, that
maybe he could just get the army to invade Vermont:

(04-22) 09:35 PDT MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) --

Engineers at a Vermont nuclear plant searched Thursday for two missing
pieces of a highly radioactive fuel rod while experts acknowledged
they may never be found.

The operators of the Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant reported the
missing pieces Wednesday, saying they were not where they were
supposed to be in the large pool used to store fuel rods.

One of the missing pieces is about the size of a pencil. The other is
about as thick but is 17 inches long.

The spent fuel rods are highly radioactive and would be fatal to
anyone who came in contact with them without being properly shielded,
Nuclear Regulatory Commission spokesman Neil Sheehan said. Spent
nuclear fuel could be used by terrorists to construct so-called dirty
bombs that would spread deadly radiation with conventional
explosives.............

IIRC, Kerry is the one who opposes nuclear power, not Bush.

So, he would be more likely to shut down this "dangerous" facility.

Nevermind the boost in winter heating costs for Vermont residents and
the increased reliance on Mid East oil.

BTW, what percentage of electrical power is generated by nuclear
energy in France vs the USA?

Perhaps when Kerry loses in Nov '04 he will embark on a "noble
crusade" and try to save his adopted country from its wicked obsession
with nuclear power.

I can't think of a better place from him to be or, a better thing to
happen to them.

Have to admit, it IS dangerous when spent rods are LOST.....BUT, I
take it you didn't get the gist of the post...read the subject line.

You can blame Bush for the skyrocketing cost of crude.

BTW, what percentage of electrical power is generated by nuclear
energy in France vs the USA?

What's the point?

Did I miss something? What country is "his adopted country", and why?

I had to laugh ,,, a bunch of students were cussing Bush,, just like you
morons,, they were cussing Bush in their language. I asked why, it appears
that Victoria Secret has a model wearing Buddha,, now the Buddhists are
blaming Bush because Victoria Secret has a bikini with Buddha on it. I
understand the disrespect aspect, but the 20 year olds blaming Bush just
reminded me of your mentality levels.
