( OT ) Wolfowitz testimony on Iraq draws fire
http://www.salon.com/news/wire/2004/...itz/index.html
Extract Criticisms include: too few troops sent over in the first place; a lack of planning for postwar operations; unilateral action that has left the United States bearing the bulk of the financial and human toll; and overly optimistic predictions on what it would take to oust Saddam and build a new democratic government in his place. |

"Jim" wrote in message Criticisms include: too few troops .... lack of planning.... unilateral action....overly optimistic predictions.... Same crap they've been throwing at anyone associated with the Bush administration.. Time for some new questions. Maybe -- Ms Gorelik, why did you feel it necessary to cripple our intelligence gathering capability through the memo you authored? Ms Gorelik, would you please tell us how your presence on this Commission does *not* constitute a conflict of interest when the law firm in which you are a partner represents members of the Saudi royal family? Think Salon might look into that? |

Or, Ms. Gorelik, what do you think of Bush's family ties with the Bin Ladens? Ms. Gorelik, what about Bush's plans to attack Iraq BEFORE 911? Ms. Gorelik, what do you think about BushCo hiring Halliburton, with which the administration has very strong business ties with, to rebuild Iraq, without even offering bids? |
