Evercoat Scratch Patch
Hi everyone, Hey I was wondering if anybody here has used Evercoat's
Scratch Patch in the 1/2 oz tube? I have some hairline cracks below the waterline that I want to use this stuff on. Someone told me I have to "V" notch the cracks out first but Evercoat's instructions do not say this is necessary. Any suggestions? V-notch or not?. Thanks. Chris |
Evercoat Scratch Patch
I would recommend the v-notch... It is quite difficult to get anything into
a crack that will bond both sides without notching first "Chris Mares" wrote in message news:J%8hc.10554$DM5.2591@okepread04... Evercoat Scratch Patch
I've used the "patch" and, using the supplied tool, it seems to work fine
without creating a v groove. It's not structural, just a filler. It has a fast evaporating solvent, smells like acrylic enamel reducer.
