Potomac, Maryland, is fairly fancy, but doesn't begin to compare to Great Falls, Virginia. Potomac is fairly far out in the 'burbs to attract many national pols, though I'm sure some live out there. It's near Rockville, which is a tad lower on the economic scale, but has lots of good restaurants. |

I live in Gaithersburg, MD and I am anxiously awaiting your condescending and demeaning comments about Gaithersburg, MD. Great Falls, VA and Potomac, MD are directly across from each other on the Potomac river just North of Wash. D.C. From Great Falls you have to cross the Potomac river to get into D.C. and from Potomac, MD you only need to pick a road. Potomac, MD attracts liberals and Great Falls, VA attracts conservatives which is evident in the medians income comparison. Go to http://www.city-data.com/ for the data. |
