Vacation Plans

What are your water/boating vacation plans this year?

Us....we are renting a waterfront house on Kelley's Island (
http://www.kelleysislandchamber.com/ ) for a week in August, accompanied by
our good friends and their 26 foot Lyman hardtop (yahoo). The house is on 9
acres of property and include a fire pit and adjoins a horse farm (it is
located northwest of The Village Pump).

The owner encouraged us to pitch a tent in the back yard to allow for as
many guests as we want. So far my sister/brother in law and their family
and a good friend from Michigan will be joining us, most likely later in the
week...as well as the kids popping in and out during the week with their
friends as their summer work schedules allow.

Boating, fishing, swimming, eating and enjoying good company. We can't
wait.

What are your plans?

We're taking the Baja Islander and two friends to Lake Murray (SC) for a
week near the end of July. We have a cottage on an island that sounds like
it should be just perfect for the four of us. Counting the days already!

Us too! Nothing like a week or two away from work and spending that time on
the water. :-)

Lake Murray... http://www.sciway.net/city/lakemurray.html ...looks like a
very nice place.

NADA. Wife will be gone all summer with occasional breaks for this
conference, that convention, this seminar, is presenting a couple of
seminars so I've got the house pretty much to myself this summer.

Later,

Tom

I have my brother and his two sons coming out next month. We plan to camp a
few days at San Luis Resevoir to fish, tube, wakeboard, and just float. A
few days from the daily grind anyway.

I guess that could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. ;-)

What does your wife do for a living?

housekeeper. ;-)

A very busy lady indeed.

Hell no - that's Lucy's job. And she's pretty good at it too.

A very busy lady indeed.

Very much so.

Sailing to Mexico, motoring to Venice, skippering a sloop to Ausy, and
making a cruise to Chile.

I can do all of this, because I have a long driveway.
