QUESTION: Fair market value for a vessel
Greetings:
I am trying to help a friend sell a catamaran, and am trying to determine fair market value. Can someone review this description, and suggest a reasonable asking price? Hobie Catamaran, 16' 84 Sunrise Edition; Double trapeze; Hasn't been up in a couple of years - may be some parts absent; Trailer good (one tire isn't great); Tack box not in great shape; Stored inside until 5 years ago; Dirty but tramp in good shape - new ropes 3 years ago. Thanks Much! DW |

Thanks Much! DW Nadaguides lists used prices for Hobie Cats going back to 1971: http://www.nadaguides.com They don't list a "Sunrise" for 1984, though. -- frosty |
