Why in gawd's name would anybody want to pick on Peggie?

There's a certain group of folks who seem to get nervous and resentful

opinion. It's almost as though the logic is, "nobody who knows what
they're talking about should be allowed to comment, as it makes those
of us posting SWAG about various topics or unable to support or own
contrary opinions by any means beyond name calling and personal attacks
look very silly as a result."

Another Amen! To blame the 'right' or the 'left' for an attack on Peggy is
blatantly ridiculous. To blame someone who is desperately striving for attention
would be much more appropriate.

The sad thing is, when "Captain Neal" returns here again using his
"Captain Neal" handle, many will enter into chatty exchanges with him.

The name is spelled GOD. Have you spoken to Him recently?

I'm pretty sure one of the culprits is the ass who posts here as
"Netsock," the twerp that whines so much about off-topic posts. Some may
recall several years ago that Netsock had some members of the group
"going" for a while by pretending, under yet another handle, to be some
sort of college student doing some sort of lame research.

Yes, and I outed him a few years ago for posting butt-headed remarks
and then posting back to himself as another person defending the
original persona.... he was caught because of using a common IP
address.... which is a characteristic scrupulously avoided by the
current vandals....

The fact that many of these vandalous posts come from the Columbus, OH
area does cast some doubt.....

However, it isn't really important *WHO* is doing this as long as
*whoever* is *IGNORED*.... it will soon become un-fun and they will
go on to easier pickings.....

..... and *that*, after all, is the goal. Right?

Amen, and well said!

Binary thinking would cause one to look at the headers of those that they
reply to.

Good grief!! You really do think that you are superior, don't you?

If you were half as bright as you think that you are, then you would realise
that Harry *had* looked at the headers.

I hope that the members of Harry's ng don't assume that all asa posters are
as stupid as you are.
