What you could do, is use the mixable type of foam and put a little here and a little there - any spare space you have, put foam there. Personally, I think it's a bad idea not to have foam in the hull. However, it's your decision. Later, Tom |

If I add styrofoam in the middle under the floor it will only add 300 lb of floatation. Boat weight in the water is 600 lb. ( calculated using weight in the air of 1000 lb). There is no other room for styrofoam. Previos owner removed styrofoam, or it never was there. Question : Is there any sense to add styrofoam, I would rather use the underfloor space for storage. I dont see the need for styrofoam on any boat. It keeps them from coming on plane. Me and the wife http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/harkra...bum?.dir=/1323 |
Floatation low in the hull will make it float upside down, I suppose you
could tow an inflatable. Dale P......... "Ignoramus6432" wrote in message ... question from my friend: Flotation styrofoam for starcraft.
