Take one, or both of them, up to Alaska with you on the back of that

Well, as long as I don't have to hold hands with or kiss any of your
buddies here.

I restrung my Bay reels. All in Fireline except for the little one,
whidh got Spectra Power-Pro as an experiment. One reel is missing; my
new Penn Slammer, which is awaiting a rod I ordered.

From left to right:

A pair of Shimano 251s on Shimano rods. These are the same as the 250s,
but for lefties.

A Penn 4300 spinner on a whippy little 5' Ugly Stick.

My wife's Penn 4500 on an Ugly Stick.

My Penn 4400 on a Star Rod.

My Penn 4600 on a Star Rod.

My Shimano Charter Special on a Star trolling rod.


I use the latter when bottom fishing at the CBBT in case something heavy
happens along. But the lighter rigs are more than sufficient for
anything in the Bay, even 25-pound stripers.

Is fireline a braided line? I like the little Penn 4300. Got two of them on Ugly
Sticks that just stay on the boat in case I decide to do some jigging or casting
to breakers, or playing in the rips. After the fish today, I'm a big fan of
Okuma reels for trolling.

You're not required to hold hands with anyone that I know of.

Give it up John. I tried. Others have tried.

Harry Krause is and has always been a certified Grade A-1 Asshole. He has
stalked me and my wife and made personal threats to us. He even went to the
extent of finding a picture of our house on the internet.

He has done the same to others here. He has posted over 21,000 OT posts,
most of which are nothing more than insults to other members here. He has
single handedly destroyed this NG with his behavior. He thinks the only
boats to own are the ones he likes. He thinks that the only boating
lifestyle is the one he endorses. He has lied about his boats, his wife and
his life. He has shown he knows little about boating. He has had nothing
but bad things to say about you.

Let him self destruct John.....he is lower than squid **** at the deepest
depth of the ocean (boating relating tie in).

That post had nothing in it that I found very offensive. He called me no bad
names, and he has been pretty straight for the past week or so. The ending of
the perpetual horse**** has to start somewhere.

Of those 21000, several were boating related, several were made by Krause
clones, and the rest were by Harry. That probably cuts the number of offensive
posts down to 15000 or so. However, none of those were made in the past week or
so.

Tell me, what good does all the name calling do? It surely, from my experience,
doesn't improve the serenity of the name-caller, and in some cases it actually
gives the callee a thrill!
