Good question, and here's the answer.

snip the bull

Bull. You are into your usual spin mode.

Gotcha once again. ;-)

What does this have to do with boats? I take it that you aren't buying
into Herring's philosophy of trying to improve the tone of the group,
huh? Or maybe you are....he tries to improve the tone by using
profanity!!!!!

What does this have to do with boats?

What does this have to do with boats? In fact, what do any of your posts
have to do with boats?

As suspected..... You're quite good at chastising others for doing the
exact same thing that you do yourself, so you spin around to the
critic. People in glass houses, ya know?

Screw the answer, what was the question? I've got whomever you replied
to killfiled, and when you don't quote it give absolutely no context to
what you're replying to.

Try this: You're using Google Groups, so instead of hitting the "Reply"
that's inline at the bottom of every message, click "Show Options" up by
the header and then the "Reply" that is right under the "Subject" line.

It may take a few more clicks, but it'll automatically quote the
previous message correctly according to USENET standards.

For example, looking at your post on Google, it'll give me a text box
with the following:

...

All you then have to do is scroll to the bottom or below the point
you're responding to and start typing.

Ah, screw the question too. I'm going to head out and test my new prop
(er- screw.) :)

Hopefully almost two more inches of pitch will let me finally open the
throttle all the way.

Woohoo! Topped out at 31 Knots @ 5200 RPM, compared with a previous best
of 22.4 @ the 5500 redline! I should have done this when I first got the
motor...

Sorry, Fritz, I'm not Kevin, and it's easily verifiable that I am not.
But, I take it you are too stupid to figure it out, and just take what
someone else says as truth. It's sad you can't think and act for
yourself.

will we let things get out of control?

I can't see it as being fun for anybody involved.
