I saw their first last concert back in 1981 in Hampton Roads, VA.

I saw them a few years ago; they put on a terrific show. All the

icons
of rock are aging and dying, I'm afraid.

I'm going to see Dylan and Willie Nelson next month. There aren't

many
popular music acts I'll go see. Bonnie Raitt is another oldie but

goodie.

I once drank beer with Bonnie Raitt. She played at SUNY Alfred, and
after the show, she and her bass player showed up at the Collegiate
bar.

Cool beans. She just puts me away when she sings. You just know she
knows what she sings about.

HAve you heard the last Ray Charles album on which Bonnie duets with
Ray? And Ray duets with some other great singers? I think it was the
album of the year last year. It is absolutely fabulous.

Yes, very good album. I play guitar some, and sing like a cat with his
tail under the rocker! They say you can train your voice, but in my
case, I think it would be a long, long time before I could even hint at
carrying a tune!

"so are they boater"...?? Why don't you just read the posts here and
refrain from replying. You may learn a thing or two about grammar.

I see you also post to rec.boats.cruising. Yet you didn't crosspost this to
that group. Do you think rec.boats is just a dumping ground for your
holding tank and is appreciated here? If this post was so important to
boaters, why didn't you post it to rec.boats.cruising?

The answer is simple, you know the people in rec.boats.cruising would jump
all over your stupid ass. But you think you can spill your OT stupid ****
here. Wrong you stupid ****ing asshole.

Sorry Dicklips...I try to avoid crossposting.

If you have a chance to see Hot Tuna (Jorma Kaukonen & Jack Casady), or
Jorma alone or in ANY incarnation, DO IT. He was here back in February with
Casady, playing a small venue - an old German community center where they
were no more than about 75 feet from anyone in the audience. Absolutely
remarkable show. Started with an acoustic set (with some background bass
from Jack, a la their first live album), and finished with an electric set.

There's a Maryland show listed he

I have to give you some bad news. Your parents should've told you, but it
can be heartbreaking to tell a kid about his disability, so I'm gonna do it.
You may want to sit down.

Ready?

There are people who are capable of thinking about many things within any 3
minute period of time. This is why you'll hear people say, in the middle of
"what's for dinner?" or "How do you like your new truck?", "Hey....I finally
played a decent game of golf yesterday".

For us, it's easy. You, on the other hand, get defensive whenever you see us
do it. There's simply no reason for that. Just try and keep up with the
conversation.

Don,
It looks like you, Harry and Doug are very active members of the "I am
obsessed by "Smithers" fan club. Who is the president?

How the hell did we all get so old? And so fast?

Many youngsters consider the Rolling Stones in the same light we viewed
Lawrence Welk 40 years ago- music for old folks. I saw a cartoon a few
years ago with
a bunch of old guys with guitars being pushed on stage in wheel chairs.
The caption, "Ladies and Gentlemen, the *Rolling* Stones!"

Guess they'l never break, never break, never break, never
break!........this heart of (the) Stone(s).

But hooray for the Stones. Long after the Beatles gave up rock 'n roll
to go down the Sgt. Pepper pop music path, the Stones kept rockin. :-)

Hey John...ya gotta admit that Keith Richards contributes more to the world
with a needle in his arm than GWB does in whatever his condition is called.

C'mon, Don. What prompted that?
Sneak-up-from-behind snotty personal remarks are no more useful from an

Aren't there enough fights in the group without looking for
opportunities to start some more?

What now, you were caught cursing and now you are questioning my character.

Don, you are the one that needs to look deep within himself and ask whether
your are you own man or do you just follow close behind Harry?
