I go there on a fishing trip every year. We rent a house boat to live
on, and take our fishing boats. Smallies are the best fishing there,
you can fish for others species, though, even walleye. You need to
know how to bass fish DEEP, the banks are steep. You can have the bow
of your boat up against the rocks, and your fish finder reading 50' or
more. Look for schools of bait fish for stripers. Take a vertical type
jig, such as a Rattlesnake, or the local favorite, a Silver Buddy, set
up a small casting distance from the bank, cast to the rocks, and let
the Silver Buddy work it's way down the rocks, working the depth that
you see fish. Good luck, anymore questions, I'll try to help.
