Does anyone know how those big ocean liners are protected from lightning
strikes? same way as any other boat, they pray a lot. absolute truth is absolutely nothing is more effective than prayer. |

These strike termination devices are bonded to grounding conductors that are connected to grounding plates in contact with the water. These systems do nothing to prevent strikes (they may actually cause more of them) but they do dramatically reduce the chances of serious injury or death. |
