Using mixed fuel in autos.
 

I sold a 87 LeBaron that was burning about a quart of oil for every 10 gallons
of gas. It ran great and never smoked a bit. It wasn't leaking or "blowing" it
so it had to be burning it.
The computer just adjusted the mix and went on.
That was regular motor oil, certainly not as clean burning as TCW-3.
