Thanks for reply Gordon. Did this engine ever idle smoothly ?
I spend hours salmon trolling at 1000 rpm and it seems to be a little rough.
I realize the engine "runs backwards", has a different carb than production,
and was "marinized" in 1975 for 93 octane reg gas. Your comments Please
