Why not take a class? There are probably pool sessions in your area if you
contact a local paddling club or look around a bit. Or, join a club and
travel with them on their group trips for a while... learn while your in
your kayak, as opposed to reading online or from a book and then trying to
apply that later. Would probably be more fun too with others...
