The William J Clinton Foundation will donate $10m to provide
AIDS-suppressing paediatric drugs to infected children in Asia, the
Caribbean and Africa.

Announces 2005 Grant winners

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy
announced today that it has awarded a total of $637,851.09 to develop or
expand ten programs that will improve the literacy skills of parents and
their children. *Since its inception in 1989*, the Foundation has
awarded nearly $16 million to over 450 family literacy programs in 47
states and our nation’s capital.

Grants Will Help 136 School Libraries Buy Books

The George Bush Award for Excellence in Public Service is a custom
crystal sculpture by Steuben of New York. Designer Eric Hilton, as a
special commission for this award, created this three panel prismatic
column of crystal. In the center of the column is a shallow lens
engraving of the world. ( apparently given annually; value not stated)
