Jim,,
Ok I understand you are liberaltrash so I will try to explain this to you very slowly. Clinton has not donated anything. His foundation pledged $10mm. A major share of that pledge is drug companies agreeing to sell drugs substantially below US market prices. In the drug business, the first pill cost millions, every pill after the first one costs pennies. It is excellent that the Clinton foundation put together this program, but Clinton did not give $10mm to anyone. "Jim," wrote in message ... I thought you said " Total gifts from the foundations maybe 1.3 million" I erred, I thought the contributions were from 2005 -- turns out Lauras was 2004 so the 2005 number would be even less. I must have missed where the Clinton Foundation discussed 2005 contributions. I saw a PR piece that discussed the Clinton pledges, but did not see anything about Clinton's total contributions in 2005 or the total pledges from the Bush family foundations. You seem to be comparing apples and oranges. Maybe if you were to have read the dates on the articles/press releases Is this a problem all of the liberaltrash have? "No, it's me" wrote in message ... Jim,, Ok I understand you are liberaltrash so I will try to explain this to you very slowly. I think jimmycomma has been attending the kevin noble school of tap dance. Yes, I'm sure the Gates Family Foundation shares your feeling. Not. Does the Gates Family Foundation announce their donations or do the recipient organizations announce that they have received a big pile of cash from the Gates Family Foundation. Again, why is the donation being publicly announced? What benefit is there in having the donation or receipt of the donation publicly announced? Many billions of dollars are donated each year with out the donation of or receipt of those donation being publicly announced. |
