Fuel Prices Feeding GOP Greed?
Consumer prices for gasoline are up sharply, without any apparent
reason. Which friends of Bush are getting richer off the rest of us? Gasoline for this summer's boating may be up to $2.50 a gallon... |

Consumer prices for gasoline are up sharply, without any apparent
reason. gas prices are up because crude oil is priced in US dollars, and the US dollar is falling relative to Euros etc. US dollars are falling because US interest rates are so low they won't attract foreign buyers of our bonds unless the dollar goes does relative to their currency. bitch about high gas prices or high house prices. They go hand in hand. Same thing that causes one causes the other. |

Did the nursing home staff forget to give you your meds old man? You seem to be a bit on edge tonight. You are normally disrespectful, spiteful, hateful and full of anger, but I sense that something is not right with you tonight Krause. Have a nice night. |

Jim,
Im sure you have an intelligent answer why Bush is the only president that has yet to tap strategic oil reserves to curb rising fuel prices? Please enlighten us with your wisdom and web links of fact. Surely an ex oil tycoon like bush and cheney understand all of this? They understand the impact on consumers, inflation and industry? Right? Fabricated and Conservitively Biased! Fox News On Thu, 4 Mar 2004 18:17:42 -0500, "Jim--" wrote: "Harry Krause" wrote in message ... no, it has to do with the price of crude oil.

No more dependence on foreign oil and less in transportation costs. And, lets put a whole bunch of those wind turbines off the coast of Mass. while we are at it. Bert |

When the science produces new technology that will be cost effective for the user and will not immediately obselete the existing technology then we may have the next energy source. My county has a forced recycling program. However, we have to pay people to take our recycled items. We have an incinerator that only runs 16x5 because we can't take other counties trash which would may it cost less by running the incenerator 24x7. All of this new technology is costing me quite a bit of money. Bert |
