"Harry Krause" wrote in message news:c18un8 Hmmm. John Fitzgerald Kennedy once claimed "Ich bin ein Berliner..." and that claim played quite well in Berlin. Do you suppose that upset his Irish ancestors back home in Boston? You are such a nimrod. You know damn well that you have taken Kennedy's famous query out of context, that he wasn't even speaking in the first person in that speech. You know these things, because you're smart enough to have looked it up, but you knowingly and deliberately lie about this and many other things, because that's just the way you operate. For the record, the complete Kennedy quote is as follows: "Two thousand years ago the proudest boast was 'civis Romanus sum.' Today, in the world of freedom, the proudest boast is 'Ich bin ein Berliner.' " |

It's all more of the same old "politics-as-a-blood-sport" BS. Are
there any candidates that advocate normalization of relations with Cuba? I'd like to be able to cruise there legally, and they'd get my vote. ================================================== === On Sun, 22 Feb 2004 03:44:19 GMT, "NOYB" wrote: First, Kerry told us this: "(W)e need to disarm Saddam Hussein. That is why the world, through the United Nations Security Council, has spoken with one voice, demanding that Iraq disclose its weapons programs and disarm. So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but it is not new. It has been with us since the end of the Persian Gulf War." -- John Kerry, Jan 23, 2003 "The threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but as I said, it is not new. It has been with us since the end of that war, and particularly in the last 4 years we know after Operation Desert Fox failed to force him to reaccept them, that he has continued to build those weapons. He has had a free hand for 4 years to reconstitute these weapons, allowing the world, during the interval, to lose the focus we had on weapons of mass destruction and the issue of proliferation." -- John Kerry, October 9, 2002 "I will be voting to give the president of the United States the authority to use force - if necessary - to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." -- John F. Kerry, Oct 2002 ------------------------------------------------------- Now, Kerry tells us this: June 2003: "He (Bush) misled every one of us. I will not let him off the hook throughout this campaign with respect to America's credibility and credibility to me because if he lied he lied to me personally" |

So tell us, do you believe it was Kerry's Czech ancestors who were Jewish or were Kerry's Hungarian ancestors Jewish? If they were, what significance does that have? And, if they were, does that have any signifance in correlation to the fact that his wife, if I recall, is an African? My, my, Harry! Aren't we touchy tonight? Did someone hit a hot-button? Of course, krause is jewish. Nothing wrong with being jewish but you have to wonder why the guy feels the need to hide the fact. Back to the old binary thinking: You are doing it A) to sway hearts and minds. B) To just get a rise out of others. Since you ruled out A, that kinda leaves B. I would submit that posting all this stuff just to get a reaction or attention, is in fact disruptive to the health of the NG as a whole. No? -W |

The answer is C, and I have posted an explanation of C several times. There's more to life than binary thinking. Think it through. There's nothing anyone could post here that would convince any of the die-hard Bu****es of the error of their support. Their minds are made up, closed, and there is no capacity for growth or change there. That much is obvious. So, posting information that would result in their thinking and perhaps coming to a different conclusion about Bush is a waste of time. "A" is not my reason. I don't care whether I "get a rise" out of them. It matters little to me whether they respond or not. In fact, I have oft-stated that I don't care whether neocons live or die. I don't view them as contributors to the forward movement of civilization or even our society, but I don't wish them ill, either. I simply don't care about them. There you go. |
