Skippers identity and hometown were common knowledge in the NG for
years, and it was certainly not I who spilled the beans. While
Skipper's identity was still semi-secret in the NG, he visited me in
Seattle, introduced himself and his wife, and I had his name, street
address, and phone number. During that time I kept his confidence,
despite our many disagreements. After he acknowledged his name and
hometown in the group, I no longer felt required to keep it secret. You
are mistaken on this point.

As far as your accusation that I posted Jim H's name and address to the
NG- you are either mistaken or a liar. Let's go with "mistaken" to give
you the benefit of the doubt.
The first time I remember JimH's name, street address, and phone number
appearing in the NG it was attached to some SPAM about a boat he had
for sale (a Maxum IIRC).
IIRC it was JimH, himself, who posted the link. If Harry reposted the
same information at a later date, I'm almost certain he would have
obtained it from the original disclosure made by the party (whom I
remember as JimH) who ran his "for sale" ad in the NG.

But I could be wrong. Want to have some fun? $50 to the RNC, from me,
if you can show me posting JimH's name and street address to the
Newsgroup. $50 to Muscular Dystrophy, from you, if you cannot. Fair
enough? Very simple test- did I post JimH's name and street address as
you claim, or not?
