Bottom painters slather the same paint on the aluminum that was chosen for the fiberglass..... in spite of manufacturers recommendations to the contrary and much documented information concerning dissimilar metals corrosion. If you have bottom paint on your aluminum pieces, I urge you to check and see what paint was used on your boat....
