Do I need a license or certification to be a crew member on a charter
boat?
I've been asked to crew on a 65' charter - local diving/fishing. I expect
my responsibilities would be line handling, look out, all-around gopher.
I've been aboard several times when it was just a recreation vessel: some
basic boat handling at the helm and assisted with getting underway,
docking, refueling.
If I need a license/certification/etc, where do I look to find out what
the requirements are?

The captain of that yacht would know.
