Wow, that's more politeness than I could muster in a month. You Canucks
are a bloody treasure!

Seriously, though. I was in Montegue Harbor and Sidney BC in the days
following 911 and our neighbors to the north were truly sympathetic.
There were a few mentions of having hired the village idiot to run the
country but that only made me feel more kinship with my northern
brothers and sisters.

No need to apologize for standing up for your country.

Apology accepted. I actually like Canada. I spend time and money in BC.
Both fishing Campbell River and skiing Whistler. Used to go to Calgary for
business. Get in a day skiing Sunshine Village. Just needed to rag Lloyd
and his lack of fuel content. Looking at an extended trip next year to
Vancouver region.

But nuts-on accurate. Perhaps you've forgotten Lloyd's incredibly
insensitive posts to this group at that time. When he was admonished by
numerous regulars of the group at the time (myself included), he claimed to
be so emotionally scarred by the backlash that he swore to leave the group
and never return. No apology was ever offered, as I recall. Unfortunately,
it wasn't long and he was back with his moronic posts and ceaseless
anti-American rhetoric. You were here at the time, Bill. I'm surprised
that you've forgotten. There's so few of us left here from that time. I
may be one of the few that remember. It would make for an interesting
Google search.

canoe and a Kayak. My float tube also count? Inherited an Islander 30 Mk

jps,

Hope you're not serious about moving to Canada?? That would force a lot of
Canadians down here and who wants that? Least of all the Canadians.

If serious about Bush I'm afraid you're out of here soon. Are you sure Canada
will have you? Don't think you can qualify as a draft dodger, this time.

Have you considered Oz? You and Karen could hook up. Make babies perhaps?
Wow, what an image.

Whooosh...right over your head, again, John. But, then, you have no

BTW, what's your spin on this:

Car bomb kills 47 would-be Iraqi soldiers
Attack comes day after explosion kills 55

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A suicide car bomber Wednesday killed 47 people,
most of them Iraqi men standing in line to join the new Iraqi army,
Iraqi medical officials said.

It is the second straight day suspected insurgents attacked where people
were applying for jobs with the Iraqi security services. On Tuesday, a
deadly truck bombing killed 55 people near a police station south of
Baghdad as Iraqi applicants lined up outside.

Wednesday's blast happened in front of the Iraqi Army Recruiting Center
in central Baghdad, U.S. Army Col. Ralph Baker said. A man drove a white
1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera packed with explosives weighing between
300 and 500 pounds that shredded everything in its path, Baker said.

A spokesman for the Iraqi Governing Council said the insurgents are
trying to "destabilize" the country, but said the attacks won't deter
the country's move toward sovereignty.
