A google search for houseboat rentals in WI, only comes up with Wolf
River and the Mississippi.

Are there really none in the rest of the state???

Looking for anywhere on the west side of Lake Winnebago.

You can easily get from the Wolf River to Lake Winnebago. If you are
renting form Ft. Fremont Marine you simply go down the Wolf tot he cutoff
into Lake Poygan, back into the World thru The town of Winneconne inot Lake
Winneconne then Lake Butte des Morts thru the Fox to Lake Winnebago. From
Oshkosh on Lake Winnebago to Fremont on the Wolf it is less then 30 miles
and then another r18 or so to New London which is the head of navigation for
all but very small boats. Plenty of places to stop on the river and in the
various towns. Good luck
