Far Cove HAS a New Engine!

(sorry, nothing about boobs here, those seen on the Superbowl or in the White
House)

Stage One is complete - the new engine is installed, aligned and bolted down,
and Far Cove is back in the water. Here's a Quick and Dirty website I put
together to show the pics I took:
http://www.user.dccnet.com/lsumpter/Engine/

Next step, get the parts to make a new exhaust riser, hook up the water and fuel
hoses, electrical, ...

Congrats, Lloyd...many happy hours...even though you mounted the engine
backwards.

As for the "yacht," I'm not concerned. You'll buy it. It has your name
on it.

Thanks, Harry. No worries about the engine in backwards: I put on a RH prop
instead of a LH, so it should be fine...;)

Well, I'm seriously thinking of BUILDING something very similar...

Absolutely spectacular! I very much enjoyed looking at the site. You
did a great job with the pics and the 'journaling' as my scrapbooking
wife would say. Nice work Lloyd!

Way to go Lloyd! If she runs as good as she looks, you will have a gem on
your hands.

==============================

Lloyd, I'm concerned about the appearance of that engine:

It's WAY too clean to be usable. Spill some used oil on it
and buy some artificial rust coloring! Then it will run OK,
even if it is in backwards.
