I've been looking for a Kayak like that one for a while, but just don't
seem to find it. I guess its a childhood dream to go up and down the Miami bay . . . |

It's called an outrigger canoe. Is this the kind you're looking for?

No, not an outrigger. It's called genericly a "surf ski." Just search that
in Google and you will find manufacturers. Originally developed by Australian lifeguards to rapidly get to a victim. They're fast, long (average 19') and the racing models are VERY unstable. Be sure to demo if you decide you're serious about it. I sold many of them and a few people just never got the hang of paddling them. Don't confuse them with "wave skis" which are craft specificly designed for surfing and which can be equally difficult to master. I don't want to put you off surf skiis, some models are very easy to paddle. I think one would be ideal for Miami, fast and elegant. Alan "Courtney" wrote in message nk.net...
