The fact remains that while other groups continue to be inundated by Ron038, and Ron_L_Grossi, the RBP has remained largly free of his spam since the start of this thread. If this were only spam, then what would he care about what I said, OTH he has not only stopped posting here, but he has cancelled his post that he had done here. If in fact bearsbuddy has been up to his games, and I am no closer to uncovering the work of Ron038, then bearsbuddy knows that if you mess with me about God, that you will receive a full treatment of the Testimony of Jesus, and the Blood of the Lamb. He should know at this point, that I do not consider it a game, or funny, and that unless he desires to give me opportunity to share my understanding, he should not go there in the future. If you think that he is such a nice funny guy, then maybe you should prevail upon him to avoid this behavoir in the future. I'm undecided if thats good news or bad news. If its good for me, and bad for her, then who gets the credit or blame? Jesus said this to encourage his people when things are not going exactly how they thought it should be going. He is always in control, and there is nothing that He can not do. He already has the Victory over Satan, and there is nothing else needed than the Testimony of Jesus, and the Blood of the Lamb. I have no doubt that you are correct when you say that I had a role in this current situation. The enemy seeks to attack those who are a threat to his activity. Those who believe in Jesus will suffer persecution for their faith. As far as the Pope dying, people get sick and old and die. I know that each persons death grieves God. I think it amazing that He could be standing in line at the pearly gates next to Terri S. May be we will finally meet up there someday, and I can get you that cup of coffee! As far as your girl friend missing her flight, that would depend on whether she was coming to see you or not, and whether that was good or bad or not. Now if she missed her flight because of something you did, you could be in the dog house. OTH, if she really wanted to be with you and not leave, and now she can stay longer because of something you did, well that could be good. However since you are spending time with us here on the RBP, and not with her, I have to assume that she missed her flight coming to see you, and so now you are alone, which would explain your ****y attitude, which I can completely understand. But then you said that it was good for you and bad for her, which could mean you have someone else on the side, and I won't go there, but you can always blame us here on the RBP, and claim it was our fault all along. As to absolving yourself, you did not start this, you cannot stop it, it is not your resposibility, it is not necessarily your Battle, just don't play on the Battlefield, or aid the enemy and you should be OK. Hi John, I always appreciate your input and look forward to your on topic and informative post. I try to restrict my OT comment to OT threads, and I will never start an OT thread like we have seen with Ron038, or his impostors. There are numerous trolls that I choose not to feed, however there are certain comments that I am not free to let slide. I apologize to you for any difficulty this causes you, and if you have any power of persuasion to convince the offending parties to refraim, I will accept assistance from any quarter. I realize that as respected as you are, these parties will most likely not comply with any request for civility. I have seen their activity in other groups, and suggest that we can be glad here in the RBP that the OT posting is restricted to certain threads. In the other groups, I have seen where every thread breaks down into OT posting and continuous flaming. I much prefer the fun of paddling and talking paddling with those of you who enjoy paddling as well. When I first came here, I lurked for along time before ever jumping in, just content to learn from you masters. I had no thought of this being any sort of a mission field, though I acknowledge now that was mistaken thinking on my part even then, for where ever we go, becomes our missionfield. Then in November 2004, I got started posting, on an OT thread started by the riverman that got under my skin. Since that time I have tried to stay uninvolved in the political threads, picking my fights for those things I believe are worth fighting for. Even the recent thread about Canadian medical insurance, etc, I have specifically steered clear of, as being of little interest to me. The recent thread regarding and targeting SW, I ended by talking about reed boats, and it seems to be staying ended. I do take note of your concern, and hope with the paddlng season being here, we will hear alot more about on topic paddling discussions. Those who believe in Jesus will suffer persecution for their faith. As far as the Pope dying, people get sick and old and die. I know that each persons death grieves God. As far as your girl friend missing her flight, that would depend on whether she was coming to see you or not, and whether that was good or bad or not. Now if she missed her flight because of something you did, you could be in the dog house. OTH, if she really wanted to be with you and not leave, and now she can stay longer because of something you did, well that could be good. However since you are spending time with us here on the RBP, and not with her, I have to assume that she missed her flight coming to see you, and so now you are alone, which would explain your ****y attitude, which I can completely understand. But then you said that it was good for you and bad for her, which could mean you have someone else on the side, and I won't go there, but you can always blame us here on the RBP, and claim it was our fault all along. Well my point in answering the way I did about the Pope, was that I was not interested in getting drawn by a troll into a dispute with you about whether the Pope is a Christian or not, especially at this time of his passing, nor do I have any personal knowledge of him to make any statement regarding his faith. Nor do I know anything about Terri S. I do know that the scriptures say, "It is appointed unto all men to die, and then the judgement!" In that the Pope died, I understand that he is now subject to the judgement as any other man, or as Teri S. We will all give account whether you believe in heaven or God or not. My interpretation of who is deemed as a messenger from Satan, is not based on an interpretation of Scripture per sec, but the Scriptures say, "By their Fruits you shall know them." If you speak of God, and His Love for us, and His Grace shown to us in that Jesus shed His Blood for the Forgiveness of Sins, and the Life that we now live, we Live by Faith in the Son of God, then that testimony would be a good start on identifying an individual as a messenger of God. On the contrary, if a person says they do not believe, and will never believe, then they identify themselves as, if not a messenger of Satan, certainly a servant of Satan. That you came into the current conversation, and could not take a stand for righteousness against the unfruitful works of the enemy, you identify yourself. I tried to consider the different possible scenarios, in a light hearted fashion. Even my suggestion that there was someone else, was not to suggest that you were cheating, in that you did not say that she was more than a girlfriend. Before I met my wife, I had many friends, many of them girl friends, and all at the same time. When we got engaged, the game changed, and there was no time for other friends the way it had been before. But you never suggested that she was more than a girl friend, so I saw no aspect of you cheating on her as being an issue. But to answer your question, how does Satan still live if he has been defeated? Satan is a fallen angel, the arch angel Lucifer. As an angel, he is an eternal created spirit who will never die as you and I will have our fleshly bodies die. He does not have a fleshly body. But the Scriptures speaks of another death, which he has experienced. That is the real essence of death, which is eternal spiritual separation from God. This eternal spiritual separation from God he experiences in the place we call Hell, which was specifically prepared for him and the fallen angels. When he fell from God's presence in Heaven, he took a third of the other angels with him, and they are now what we call demons. These are real spiritual entities today who still try to rebell against God, and do not accept willingly the Lordship of Christ in their existence. The fallen angels retain a lot of their power, and try to exercise their power by corrupting the remainder of God's creation. Being a part of that creation, they can not create any thing, they can only corrupt and counterfeit what God has created, even as you have demonstrated. The primary part of God's creation that they attempt to corrupt are the souls of men and women around the world. He can only do what they allow, though he is presumptous in his invasion of those lives that are not dedicated to Christ. He is described as a thief and a robber, who breaks in to even a strong mans house and binds the man and plunders the house. You may think that you are strong enough to play your games with Satan, but he will destroy you without the protection that God has provided. Now in their rebellion, we are told by the Scriptures, that "Satan and his demon servants wander around on the face of the world, like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." We are also told in the Scriptures, "Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world!", and we are told in the Scriptures, that "We will over come Satan by the Testimony of our mouth that Jesus is Lord, The Blood of the Lamb that was shed for our forgiveness, and that God raised Jesus out of death to set at His right hand. None of these things is Satan able to accept or acknowledge, except in retreating back to Hell where he belongs, in outer darkness and gnashing of teeth. Satan and his rebellion against God is completely defeated, and yet he will live in eternal death, separation from God. Now it is not to late for you to decide that you desire to be on God's side in this Battle for your soul. You only need to ask Jesus to forgive your Sin and sins, repent of your sins, and turn to God to acknowledge Him as God, and as Lord of your life. He promises to give New Life, Abundant Life, Living in you by the Holy Spirit. You will then beable to experience the Victory over Satan and his demons. Then you will be alive to God, and Satan will be dead to you! So you edit and corrupt that which is good, you play your games of deceit and corruption, and think that you are so clever.
