OT (not political) Terri will soon be gone

Circuit Judge George Greer ordered today that the feeding tube be removed
from Terri Schiavo . She will most likely last no longer than 2
weeks...slowly starving to death during that time.

You should have said goodbye about 18 years ago 'cause that's when she
left.

However, if anyone could empathize with someone missing a cortex, you'd
be tops on the list...

Are you trying to have it both ways? The only way to argue that she
should be allowed to die is to say that she is in such a state that she
has no agony. She's a gork. She isn't capable of caring about whether
she's alive or dead.

If you think she is in agony now, what do you think she will feel while
starving to death over the next few weeks? Keeping her alive is an
exercise in making other people happy - it doesn't matter to her.

Thanks Doug, this one pretty much wrote itself.

I felt a bit guilty about picking low hanging fruit. Props to Herring
for the nice setup.

She won't feel a thing. She has no access to her brain's cortex.

She's been gone for a long time. Pulling the plug happens many times a
day all across America. This is a case of celebrity.
