Bertram 28
 

I was wondering if any one had a Bertram 28 Fly bridge. I picked one up a
couple of weeks back. the former owner had removed the refrigerator because
it only worked intermittently. Of course He tossed it. I've been having a
hard time finding a fridge that fits the whole. If some one has one of
these maybe you could point me in the right direction. I've surfed and
surfed, but can only find partial fits. Maybe I'm missing a manufacturer.

You don't say how big an opening you have which is obviously
important. Also, are you looking for a 12 volt unit, 110 AC, or a
combination. If you are looking for 110 AC only, there are many
small dorm type or apartment sized under the counter units available.
Some of them will fit just about anywhere. You can save a lot of
money by buying a small 110 AC unit and powering it from an inverter
while underway. I did that for 3 years on my Bertram 33 and it worked
fine.

I had 2 of these, but sold them (for a nice profit, I might add) for a
much bigger, and more expensive boat.
